Just received: This announcement concering a talk by historian Antonio Martín on "Comics During the Spanish Civil War." It's to be held Friday, July 28 at the Centro Cultural de España in Mexico City, as part of the programming for "The Year of Historical Memory."

Antonio Martín is the author of many books on comic art, including Los Inventores del Comic Español, 1873-1900, Historia del Comic Español: 1875-1939, and Apuntes para una Historia de los Tebeos.
